WHO WILL BE THE OFFICIAL New7Wonders of Nature NATIONAL NOMINEE FROM THE PHILIPPINES?
It’s the people’s choice – only one will stay in the race in 2009
Zurich/Switzerland, Sept. 25, 2008—The New7Wonders Foundation has announced an added stage in the current Official New7Wonders of Nature campaign. A national qualification phase has been added that will allow the people of the world decide which nominee per country will move forward. Voters will choose the nominees representing each country by December 31.
These national nominees, along with all multinational nominees (nominees shared across more than one country), will continue to the next round of the campaign until July 7, 2009.
On July 21, 2009, New7Wonders will announce the 21 Finalists from which the world will select the Official New7Wonders of Nature.

The non-profit foundation, which hosted the first-ever global election in which more than 100 million votes chose the Official New 7 Wonders of the World that were declared on July 7, 2007 in Lisbon, estimates that a billion votes will be cast in the current campaign to choose the Official New7Wonders of Nature.
