Zurich/Switzerland, August 1, 2008—New7Wonders today announced the release of its brand-new widget that is embedded into websites, social networks blogs and computer desktops worldwide. The personalized widget allows fans and campaigners for the New7Wonders of Nature to encourage voting and follow their favorite nominee ranking live. Under a breakthrough arrangement, the New7Wonders widget is available on most major platforms such as Facebook, MySpace, Orkut, Yahoo! Widgets, iGoogle, MSN, Friendster, Blogger and Microsoft Live.
The widget can be easily downloaded on www.new7wonders.com, the only global voting platform and the hub of the current New7Wonders of Nature campaign. It shows one of the about 300 natural sites currently nominated in the campaign. The nominee’s current rank is displayed and dynamically updated as its position changes.

The first New7Wonders campaign, in which more than 100 million votes were cast, chose the New 7 Wonders of the World that were declared on 07.07.07 in Lisbon. The 21 New7Wonders of Nature Finalists will be announced in early 2009. The New7Wonders of Nature will be announced in late 2010.
